Accent Awning started in 2004 after 10 years of working for the competition. We had a vision different from theirs in that we love residential! I enjoy talking to customers about the issues that are important to them, and solving the problem. Retractable awnings are nice for a lot of people, but they don’t address every problem. If my customer tells me they want to add more living space, but don’t want all the expense of a sunroom, I propose stationary products. If they also say they would appreciate a ceiling fan, we go with an insulated roof. Those are really nice because they provide year round protection, and they are the same top you want if you want to enclose the area later.
We have an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. My first mentor taught me a very important lesson about business. He said if a customer is happy with you, they might tell 1 or 2 people. If they are unhappy, they will tell 5 people. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau because of that commitment.
We offer a labor warranty unlike any competitor in the area. Our labor warranty covers the products we make and install to the same extent as the manufacturers warranty. That means if your retractable awning motor fails, and the manufacturer says it is covered, here is a free motor, then we swap out the motor for free!
I have been in this business for more than 20 years and very seldom does a customer want to come to me. I have to come to your house to see the job, to measure, and it would be impossible for you to pick a color anywhere else. So we decided to run this business from our home, keep the overhead low, and pass on the savings to you. We give free estimates and will never try to twist your arm.
